The Real Life Entrepreneur Campaign Launch

East Anglia FSB in partnership with The Beermat Entrepreneur Michael Southon,
Abbey Legal Protection, Streamline and FSB Pension Scheme for Members.

We have great pleasure in inviting you to attend the FSB Launch of the Real Life Entrepreneur Campaign, which will be held on Tuesday, 21st February 2012 at Dunston Hall, Ipswich Road, Norwich, NR14 8PQ from 6pm to just after 9pm

This event will be a unique opportunity for you, as an FSB member, to hear FOUR useful speakers

There will be information on THREE new services for members:

1.    The FSB Pension Service which will give you a low cost solution so you can comply with the new law requiring anyone employing one or more people to provide a pension scheme for them

2.    New Tax Protection services available from 01 December 2011 to combat HMRC’s targeting of small businesses for investigations

3.    New offers to help reduce the cost of processing credit and debit cards – even more important with cheque guarantee cards now withdrawn.

In addition we are pleased to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be
The Beermat Entrepreneur, Michael Southon

Michael is author of The Beermat Entrepreneur series of books as well as a columnist on the Financial Times and a successful Business Mentor.

He is a Visiting Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at London South Bank University and has made frequent appearances on television and radio.

The presentation will focus on the key elements of the FSB’s Manifesto, including how to:

  1. Increase the routes to finance
  2. Improve cash-flow
  3. Adopt a new approach to regulation
  4. Reduce and simplify business tax
  5. Incentivise job creation
  6. Open up export markets

Mike will also provide strategies for business growth through increased revenue, building high-performance teams, how to find and be a mentor one, dealing with the banks, raising funding, exit strategies and The Meaning of Life – how to do all the above and still enjoy life!

PLUS there will be an exhibition at the event showcasing our FSB members’ entrepreneurial products and services and plenty of time for networking.  If you would like to have a FREE stand at our event, please email Jeanette.thurtle@fsb.org.uk to reserve your space.

Please circulate this invitation to your business colleagues and encourage them to come along too – even if they are not an FSB member.  This event is FREE for FSB Members to attend and the cost to non members is only £7.50 which is still great value for money.  Bookings MUST be made in advance as numbers are strictly limited.

We hope that you will be able to attend this exciting event and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely

Robin Twigge
